Vladimir Chekalov(1922-1992)
Was born 6 July 1922 in Kostroma Region. In 1952 V. Chekalov graduated from the I. Repin Institute in the B. IOGANSON workshop. Since 1952 he has participated in Art Exhibitions. The member of the LCRAU since 1953. Worked as a battle - pieces, painted a portrait, landscape. Paintings by Vladimir CHEKALOV are in Art museums and private collections in the RUSSIA and throughout the world.
