Sandra Batoni

She was born in Florence (Italy) in 1953. In 1973 she began to attend the Studio of the painter Emanuele Cavalli, one of the founders of the "Scuola Romana" (Roman School); later she became his assistant at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. Her artistic way has always moved through the figurative sphere, especially actracted by the Italian twentieth century school. Her comparison with the masters of that period resumes again after the degree in architecture obtained in 1982 at the University of Florence.Actually she collaborates with several important italian galleries.
She is also Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence.
